1 February 2006 was one of the halcyon days of the Beige Brigade - 25 years since the Underarm delivery. We went off to the big lunch featuring ‘Kechers’ (Brian McKechnie), ‘Boots’ (Bruce Edgar) & ‘Trev’ (T Chappell). All wonderful blokes! Full write-up to come and more pics here!
We have snared one of the balls from the underarm match where the Aussies cheated to stop us drawing a match in 1981 - it’s 25 years since it happened on Feb 1. Check this article in the Herald on Sunday. We were chipping away about it on TV3 too!
